Going 10×8
I bought a 10×8 camera last week on eBay. It’s a Bender view camera which was a self assembly wooden field camera. It hasn’t arrived as yet but I’ve been spending the weekend gathering together the accessories I need to shoot and process 10×8 film. I already have a rotary processor which can do either prints or film. It’s a French made bit of kit called a Labo. It came from Bob, a photographer I knew in Manchester, who passed away last year unfortunately. He used the Labo for print processing. I had it in my loft for a year or so and brought it down today to check it works which it does. I also brought down some potential lenses I can use. A Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 250mm f4.5 and my old hermagis 305 brass lens – both suitable for what I need.
