In December we were advised all chickens had to be housed due to an outbreak of avian flu (bird flu). This was a mandatory requirement. We spent a few days covering the entire hen run with scaffolders netting. It has held up well considering the high winds we have had over the Christmas break. Not sure the hens are too happy about being in lock-down!
