Stape Village Hall

MILLERPHOTO Posted on March 8, 2021 by ajmillerMarch 8, 2021

I didn’t date this negative but it’s from around 2017 or 2018 I think. It was a great photography subject – as can be seen from the number of times I stopped there to photograph it. I bought a 10×8 camera last week on eBay. It’s a Bender view camera which was a self assembly wooden field camera. It hasn’t arrived as yet but I’ve been spending the weekend gathering together the accessories I need to shoot and process 10×8 film. I already have a rotary processor which can do either prints or film. It’s a French made bit of kit called a Labo. It came from Bob, a photographer I knew in Manchester, who passed away last year unfortunately. He used the Labo for print processing. I had it in my loft for a year or so and brought it down today to check it … Continue reading →
